Concept for a tandem bicycle that places the two riders face to face. One rider has to move backwards through space, relying on the partner to navigate correctly. The bicycle could move back and forth creating a heightened experience of mutual coordination and trust. Most importantly, the face-to-face orientation allows the riders to converse while still being able to acknowledge the other’s presence.
